CHAS Easter Egg Appeal 2025

Pest Solutions CHAS Easter Egg Collection 2025

The last few weeks have been a bit of a squeeze at Pest Solutions as our annual Easter Egg Collection for local charity Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) created a rather large chocolatey tower in our Glasgow head office!

First proposed in 2023 by Account Manager Siobhan Quinn, our CHAS Easter Egg collection is now firmly a company tradition, with the whole team getting involved from across the UK and kindly donating to the cause.

The eggs have now been dropped off at Robin House Children’s Hospice in Balloch, an incredible CHAS run live-in care centre which provides invaluable support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families, and we hope they will be thoroughly enjoyed over the next few days!

The Most Impressive Egg of All!

There were several rather impressive (and tasty) looking Easter Eggs donated this year, but none came close to the fabulously designed egg adorning the incredibly kind thank-you card we received from our friends at Robin House.

Easter is all about spreading joy, and this card certainly put a smile on our faces here at the office!

Why CHAS?

Pest Solutions have been a proud supporter of CHAS for many years now, not only through our annual Easter Egg appeal but also through a variety of other fundraising events and volunteering efforts by our team.

We truly couldn’t imagine a more worthy or important cause to support as a company with the incredible staff and volunteers at CHAS providing essential full family support to children, babies, and young people suffering from life-shortening conditions for over 30 years.

CHAS 2025 Robin House

CHAS are currently the only charity in Scotland to operate palliative end-of-care hospices with permanent locations at Robin House in Balloch and Rachel House in Kinross.

Their organisation was founded on the fundamental principle that every single child deserves to live a full and joy-filled life and make memories that last a lifetime, and have a truly remarkable team of nurses, support workers, physios, social workers, and caregivers working tirelessly to make this a reality.

If we can contribute even the tiniest bit to this goal through the power of chocolate and spread a little bit of joy to some incredibly strong young people this Easter Season then we would be delighted, but we are well aware that CHAS relies on more substantial donations (ones that don’t melt in the sun!) to keep doing what they do.

We would encourage absolutely anyone and everyone who has a few pounds spare to get involved and donate to the cause here: https://www.chas.org.uk/donate.

Get Involved!

If you have ever visited a CHAS hospice, it is easy to mistake the people working there for superheroes.

The reality, however, is that these are dedicated, highly-qualified and extremely hard-working professionals who provide invaluable care services to those in incredibly challenging situations.

Their continued ability to provide this service relies massively on the kind and generous support of people just like you across the UK and without public donations and volunteering, they simply wouldn’t be able to do so.

Whether it’s a monetary donation, a day spent volunteering at a CHAS event or a gift left in a will, there are numerous ways to support CHAS now and in the future and you can rest assured that not a single penny will go to waste.

Happy Easter from Pest Solutions

You may have missed it this time around, but rest assured we will be back at it again with our Easter Egg collecting in 2026 and would be delighted if you got involved.

In the meantime, keep an eye out on our website and socials for updates as we regularly participate in fundraising and volunteering efforts for both CHAS and other local charities close to our hearts and are always incredible grateful for any public support!

CHAS 2025 Pest Solutions team

Last but not least, everyone at Pest Solutions would like to wish you all a very happy Easter Weekend filled with family, fun, and chocolate and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
