2023 International Woman’s Day Campaign Video Outtakes

The girls had a blast recording the video with some of the more fun parts hitting the cutting room floor. Here are the best bits of the outtakes.

Pest Solutions Service Manager, Gabrielle Hogg and the rest of the women who worked hard to put together the campaign had loads of fun recording the video, answering the questions that formed the article and engaging with all the people who reached out to participate on social media and in person. Championing Female Pest Professionals On International Woman’s Day

Championing the role of females in the professional pest control industry is something we are passionate about here at Pest Solutions because we can see how directly how starting to achieve a better balance within our business has been a significant part of the success of our business. We undertook a new recruitment strategy to hire the best talent available on the basis of attitude first and as a result, the gender balance in our business moved from resembling the rest of the pest control industry at roughly 4.5% female employment to close to us having 40% of our team made up of women.

Our focus on building the right company culture has resulted in more than just this outcome. Service quality is up, customer retentions are up, team morale is up, staff retention is up, sales are up, leads are up, CPD achievements are up, and the business more than quadrupled in size in the last 3 years.

It was great to celebrate 2023 International Womens Day with the campaign led by our female pest professionals but we also look forward to celebrating how great our entire team are every day as they continue to do a great job delivering excellent customer service every time.

We would encourage any like-minded businesses in the pest control industry or any other industry for that matter to put the people, the team and the culture first and everything else will be much easier to achieve as they go the extra mile to put the customer first.
